Naomi’s naked pic sparks debate on caesarean birth
Aussie actress Naomi Watts has sparked a debate about the rigours of caesarean birth after she was photographed standing naked on a Californian balcony.
The photos, which appeared on the popular gossip website Perez Hilton, showed Watts baring not only her breasts but also a still swollen lower abdomen with a vivid caesarean scar, as she stood on a balcony with her dressing gown hanging open, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Watts, 40, gave birth to her second son, Samuel Kai, just eight weeks ago, and she was seen shooting her latest film Mother and Child in Marina del Rey.
To date, the actress has not revealed why she preferred the birthing method, keeping her and partner Liev Schreiber's decision to themselves and not wading into the heated debate over “to push or not to push”.

Charlotte Church's junk food ban
Charlotte Church's boyfriend has banned junk food from their home to help her lose weight.
British rugby star Gavin Henson is reportedly keen for Charlotte - who gave birth to the couple's second child, Dexter, on January 11 - to ditch her post-pregnancy pounds, but the 22-year-old singer is less determined to get back into shape.
A source explained: Her hormones are all over the place, so it will be really tough for her
A source said: "Gavin has banned junk food from the house. But Charlotte's so stubborn. Despite moaning about being massive while pregnant, she doesn't seem too worried about shedding her weight now."
The 'Crazy Chick' singer is also believed to be upset Gavin will be spending a lot of time training with the Welsh rugby team for the upcoming Six Nations rugby tournament - meaning he won't be at home as much to help her care for Dexter and their 16-month-old daughter Ruby.
A source explained: "Her hormones are all over the place, so it will be really tough for her. She gets lonely in her big house when Gavin has to stay overnight for a match and worries about other women making advances."

Composer Rahman has no regrets about 'Slumdog'
Oscar nominee A.R. Rahman has a polite suggestion for those in Bollywood who complain that the hit film "Slumdog Millionaire" casts India in a negative light with its depiction of poverty in Mumbai's slums: don't just criticize it but make your own film.
"In my opinion if creative people want to comment on a film, and if I were a director and felt that way, I would make another film and prove my point and say this is what India is about," Rahman told The Associated Press in an interview from Los Angeles before returning home to work on film scores before participating in the Feb. 22 Oscars awards show.
As for "Slumdog Millionaire," the noted Indian film music composer believes it is "a great statement of showing in a way the past reality and the growth of the economy in India, which all comes across beautifully."
The 43-year-old Rahman has been hailed in India for his three Oscar nominations for "Slumdog Millionaire" — for best original score and the songs "O ... Saya" and "Jai Ho." But the rags-to-riches saga of a Mumbai orphan who competes on India's "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" quiz show received a controversial reception in India.
Rahman refused to comment on a defamation lawsuit filed against him and actor Anil Kapoor, who plays the quizmaster in the film, by a Mumbai slum-dwellers' rights group alleging its members found the term "Slumdog" insulting.
But he said he had no qualms about working on the film with British director Danny Boyle and his crew, whom he described as "very sensitive people."
"When you came out of the film ... that felt so good and positive that nothing else mattered to me," said Rahman. "I loved working with Danny and I loved his whole vision of the screenplay and the artistic quality of the film.
"And for me it's not about India alone, it's about the human spirit which triumphs, and this could have happened in China or Brazil or anywhere else."
Rahman says the film is consistent with his humanitarian goals. An honorary U.N. ambassador, he set up the A.R. Rahman Foundation to support educational programs for underprivileged children across India. He has also founded a conservatory in his home city of Chennai to prepare youngsters for careers in music.

Lohan's dad vows to stop blogging
Lindsay Lohan’s father has vowed to stop blogging to please his daughter.
Michael Lohan - who begged Lindsay’s fans to "intervene" to save her life last week - will no longer write about his 22-year-old daughter and her sister Ali, 15, but insists his posts were never meant to hurt his family.
Michael wrote: "Well here you have it. My final blog. And for those of you who are doubters or knockers, let me say that I never took a penny for my blog or anything I ever did for any of my children. I did what I did, out of love and concern, regardless of any of your opinions. I did it to help them, advance their careers and give them hope.
"I have to say that when it comes to my innocent children, who are at risk and have nothing to do with the situation at hand, I have to respect their request. (ie ‘I was issued a cease and desist.’)"
Despite his claim he never wanted to upset Lindsay, Michael then launches into an attack against her lover Samantha Ronson.
He wrote: “Before I go, however, I must say that I received a text message from a very close and dear friend of Lindsay's who I trust and admire. The text said, ‘Between you and me you are doing the right thing.
"From what I hear, from Lindsay's nearest and dearest friends, Lindsay is worse off than ever since she has been with Sam. I told Dina that Lindsay needs you back in her life, and I think you know that I was the one who really helped Linds get into rehab.'"
Michael alleges Samantha is only dating Lindsay to boost her bank balance and blames the 31-year-old DJ for ruining Lindsay’s career.
Referring to Lindsay’s 2007 rehab stint, he wrote: "Just look at Samantha's tax returns before she ‘engaged’ Lindsay, and then after! Look at Lindsay's career before Samantha and after! Look at all the things Lindsay accomplished and had going for her before Samantha and after.
"I was with Lindsay when she got out of Cirque Lodge. I saw and experienced the 'old Lindsay' with so much hope and promise. I had full confidence in her. Then back came Samantha! Can't you all see this?
"Am I speaking to stone walls? All I ask that you put yourselves in my shoes and HONESTLY consider what you would do."

Angelina Jolie 'Misplaces' Her Oscar
Angelina Jolie needs to be careful if she wins her second Academy Award this year (09), after misplacing the first statuette she received at the prestigious ceremony.
The actress has been nominated for a Best Actress prize for her performance in Changeling and will go up against Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Melissa Leo and Meryl Streep in the category on the 22 February.
I didn't actually lose it. But nobody knows where it is at the moment.
But if she walks away victorious, she won't be able to pair the gong with the Best Supporting Actress award she won in 1999 for Girl, Interrupted - because she has no clue where that Oscar is.
Jolie handed it to her mother Marcheline Bertrand, who hid it away, but has since died.
She explains, "I didn't actually lose it. But nobody knows where it is at the moment."

Gisele Bundchen strips off for Aids charity appeal
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has posed in just tiny pants in a photo shoot for Elle magazine to support Aids charity appeal (Red).
In another snap, the 28-year-old Brazilian paints a very pretty picture as she poses in an art-inspired shoot.
Bundchen is keen to emphasise that she is not involved in this campaign just for her image but as it is one close to her heart after growing up in poor conditions.
“I grew up in a country strongly affected by poverty. On street corners you see kids doing things on the wrong side of the law, the Sun quoted Bundchen, as saying.
The face of suffering isn”t an abstract thing for me, and I”ve always said to myself that if I could do something to help, I would.
“Follow your instincts and your heart: if you are able to buy and help others at the same time, why deny yourself the pleasure?” she added.
Money is generated through the charity’’s partners, who design and sell specific products and contribute a share of the profits to invest in African Aids programmes.

Paris Hilton admires Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole has found an admirer in Paris Hilton, as the socialite thinks that the British popstar will make it big in America. Last month, sources had revealed how X Factor boss Simon Cowell was trying so hard to make Cheryl a star Stateside that he had instructed his lawyers to help her get a visa, which is much more difficult because of her 2003 conviction for assault.
The X Factor boss has been pulling out all the stops with his legal eagles, as well as lining up high profile appearances on the likes of Oprah Winfrey once Cheryl is allowed to work in the US. But now, it seems luck is favouring Cole more, as even Paris Hilton has given her a nod.
"I haven't seen much of Cheryl, but I've heard how much you guys love her. She's stunning and I bet they'll love her in the States," The Sun quoted Hilton, as telling Heat magazine. "Simon Cowell is a wise business man to bring her over I love him, he's very funny, charming and cool. I haven't invited him to the nightclub in my house yet but I will!" Hilton added.

Paris Hilton beats chilly weather without bra
Paris Hilton was spotted craving for warmth after she ditched her bra to face the chilly weather in London. The millionaire-heiress was photographed sporting a sleeveless top against the penetrating low temperature.
The socialite has been in the capital to promote her new reality show 'My British Best Friend', for which she was auditioning various girls to be her new 'pal'. Paris seemed to have very little knowledge about things in the UK, especially after she thought that Brit chef Gordon Ramsay is Britain's Prime Minister.
After the first faux pas, she was further asked about the drinking habits of Brits, to which she revealed that she did not know what a pint was.

"I am a very sexless person:" Kangana Ranaut
In all her movies she has exposed and stripped with no inhibitions. From Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Metro, Fashion to her latest Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Kangana has effortlessly done that. So it's but natural if people think that Kangana wishes to flaunt a blatant sexy image. But the dame begs to differ.
She's been saying, "Even though I have worn fewer clothes, I don't think I look vulgar. I am a very sexless person. I have never tried to create a sexy image of myself. From the very first day, I have been clear about my objectives. I am an actress and I am here to do my job."
So basically she means to say that though she sheds her clothes, she doesn't compromise with her acting. That's not the only thing that Kangana denies. She says that there are no differences between her and her boyfriend Adhyayan's dad Shekhar Suman.
She said, "Nothing serious happened on that particular day and the media has just spiced up the entire issue. The argument took place between Shekhar and Mohit (Suri) and the media had unnecessarily drag her name to make the news spicier."
Kangana sure knows how to be a part of controversies and spice up her life. She's already done a good job of it. No wonder she's survived so well in B-Town.

Kate Hudson's X-rated confession
Kate Hudson watches hardcore pornography.
The single actress - who is divorced from Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson - relieves her sexual frustration by watching X-rated films.
When asked if she has been watching soft pornography now she hasn't got a partner, Kate joked, "What are you talking about? I go right for the hard stuff!"
Kate, 29, is comfortable talking about sex and recently admitted she finds monogamy difficult because she is "ruled" by her "sexual energy".
The 29-year-old actress - who has a four-year-old son Ryder with Chris - said, "I got into this very controversial discussion once. I was married at the time and I was asked, 'Do you think monogamy is possible?' And I said, 'No, I don't think we are made to be monogamous, we are animals.'
"If you have that personality, it's never going to go away because you are ruled by your sexual energy."
Early in January, Hudson laughed off internet reports that she was spotted kissing a woman in Miami.
"A girlfriend called me and said, 'Are you making out with girls now?' I was like, 'What are you taking about?'"
"No, no, no," she added. "Strictly boys for me!"

'Art' star Pamela Anderson
Pamela Anderson sees herself as "art".
The former 'Baywatch' actress recently starred in a new advertising campaign for legendary British designer Vivienne Westwood, and claims the experience has changed how people view her.
Vivienne asked Pamela, 41, to appear in the campaign after the pair met at her Spring/Summer 09 show in London last September
She said: "Yesterday I was considered soft porn, but today I am art. I have an eclectic group of friends. I like people who can feed your soul."
Vivienne asked Pamela, 41, to appear in the campaign after the pair met at her Spring/Summer 09 show in London last September.
They immediately hit it off, and Pamela admits shooting the adverts was one of the best experiences of her life.
She said: "It was one of my top 10 moments. But I've had maybe 20 top 10 moments."
The pictures were shot over just one day in Los Angeles - the process should have taken three days but the outfits were held up in customs - but rather than getting stressed, the couple were determined to have fun.
Pamela explained: "I don't think I converted Vivienne to beach life, but we did lots of hair swinging. She got really into it."
